The Qanun is in one of the absolute string instrument such as Santur and Harp which has a trapezoid body with a rectangle shape sound-hole that covered by animal's skin. The Qanun has 78 strings, which they fastened with pegs. The plectrums (picks) for the Qanun are attached to two index fingers.
